The Sostenuto Program is a vital piece of our public schools’ music education program strategy for student success. Santa Fe Public Schools’ performing music programs encompass a broad range of nearly 3000 students who have elected performing music in band, choir, and string orchestra, amongst other genres. As our programs grow, the student-teacher ratio widens, and individual students are more and more in need of one-on-one attention from a professional who can target and respond to their unique learning needs.
